At the end of 2000, ex-Coripharm was acquired by aap Implantate AG. A fundamental advantage of the synergy resulting from the acquisition lies in extending the osteosynthesis, or bone fracture healing, product range to include bone replacement materials that at the same time promote bone healing. Using a combination of metal implants and bone replacement materials treatment results are achieved that far exceed the average attained by conventional supportive osteosynthesis.
