To support the idea of modular solutions aap has created new LOQTEQ® small and large basic sets. Utilizing both locking and non-locking screws these systems combine the advantages of an angular stable internal fixator with effective fracture compression.

The Small Fragment Set (IC-6931-05) is loaded with angle-stable Straight Plates, Reconstruction Plates and 1/3 Tubular Plates (Locking) for many different indications.

The locking screws in the sets provide a star-shaped recess whereas the standard screws feature a hexagonal recess. All cortical screws are self-tapping. Every basic set contains locking compression screws and locking screws with smaller head diameter as well as the corresponding standard screws. The range of lengths is adapted to the different anatomical regions and may be completed by special selection, e.g. for the distal femoral plate.

The Large Fragment Set (IC-6941-05) is loaded with Straight Plates in many different lengths and in two different thicknesses for different size bones and fractures.

All LOQTEQ® Plates can be used with locking and standard screws and incorporate a possible compression of up to 2.3 mm.
