| Radius Set 2.5 |
|
Based on its wide spectrum the new Radius Set 2.5 can be used for a multitude of radial fractures.
The special configuration of anatomically contoured and universal angle-stable plates allows the treatment of radial fractures - palmar as well as dorsal.
|
|
Indications Extra-/Juxta-articular Radius Plates
Fixation of intra-/ extra-articular fractures of the distal radius:
-
Smith fractures (AO 23-A2/A3) -
Reverse Barton fractures (AO 23-B3) -
Multifragment fractures (AO 23-C1/C2/C3)
|
| Anatomical Design |
|
-
Low risk access -
Osteosynthesis of fractures close to the edge of the joint -
Optimum plate fit without intraoperative contouring -
Anatomically preset screw angles in the distal part -
Plates in various lengths -
Angular stability in all plate holes (except oblong hole)
|
| Screws/Plates |
|
-
Reduced diameter of the head offers numerous options for distal fixation -
Screws ø2.5 fix even smaller fragments -
Conventional screws in the thread hole allow a variable axis of 15 degree -
Low profile design avoids soft tissue irritation
|
| Targeting Device |
|
-
Low profile design -
Easy fixation on the plate -
Simplified drilling in pre-set angle -
Secure positioning of the locking screws
|
| Application Straight, L- and T-Plates |
|

-
Fraktures of the distal ulna -
Double plating technique (dorsal) -
Additive fixation of fracture fragments *Indications and contraindications see Instruction for Use
