aap Implantate AG enlarges its Supervisory Board

The Annual General Meeting of aap Implantate AG, a medical technology company active in the fields of biomaterials and implants for trauma and joint reconstruction, agreed on June 30, 2006 to enlarge the company’s Supervisory Board from three to six members. This change in the Articles of Incorporation was entered in the commercial register on July 17, 2006, since when the Supervisory Board has had three new members. They are the company’s founder, Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Ahrens, Berlin, management consultant Dr. Walter R. Meyer, Thun, Switzerland, and attorney Dr. Wolfgang Hohensee, Berlin.

The Management Board and Supervisory Board of aap Implantate AG are hopeful that this enlargement of expertise will lend further important impetus to expansion of the medical technology company’s business and look forward to successful cooperation.
