Report for the Second Quarter of 2005:
Sales up 16%, marked improvement in result
aap Implantate AG, a German medical technology company specialized in endoprosthetics, fracture healing and orthobiology, today announced results for the second quarter of 2005 ending June 30. For the second quarter the company reported sales of EUR 3.2 million (up 16%, previous year: EUR 2.7 million) and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of EUR 76,000 (previous year: minus EUR 554,000). The shortfall for the quarter improved strongly to minus EUR 81,000 (previous year: minus EUR 3.2 million).
